I have continued developing my project by studying the proto‑metadata embedded in The Andy Warhol Diaries. Warhol’s diaristic practice—his instinct to tag, timestamp, and structure experience long before digital metadata existed—has become a conceptual anchor for my work. His contribution through Interview magazine, with its blend of celebrity culture, aesthetic curation, and proto‑algorithmic editorial logic, presents how early media systems anticipated the dynamics of today’s AI‑driven platforms.
Examining these materials has allowed me to trace a lineage between analog cultural production and contemporary machine‑mediated identity formation, deepening my interest in how narrative, aesthetics, and institutional power shape public understanding.
