Current Exhibition at FROSCH & CO

The current exhibition at FROSCH & CO features new paintings by Dennis Dawson which opened on March 12th. Over, Under, Sideways, Down is a series of Rauschenbergian paintings whereby Dawson’s nostalgic painterly style is consistent with the title of the show (the Yardbirds 1967 “Over, Under, Sideways, Down”).

FROSCH & CO, located in the Two Bridges section, downtown Manhattan (34 East Broadway). Eva Frosch, the gallery director, was as essential to the space as the works themselves.

Like Bitforms Gallery (131 Allen Street) the exhibition space serves a flexibility of function and accommodates the desire to conform to a Large Language Model or LLM. Like PAC NYC, this philosophy is something New Yorkers will be seeing more and more as it progresses.

ITS CHARM IS IN THE HEROIC EFFORT TO DIY A CURE FOR CONTEMPORARY STRIFE WITHIN THE EVENT SPACE

LLMs serve the purpose of the idea space that has not yet enabled articulation.

Dawson’s nostalgia and musical interplay create an entry point for a homemade LLM. Like a child’s toy, its charm is in the heroic effort to DIY a cure for contemporary strife within the event space.
